After 1st April 2012 if your car has any illuminated warning lights, whether it is the airbag, seatbelt, ESP, SRS, ABS or any other lights, it will fail the MOT.

Now drivers will also no longer be able to simply remove the bulbs, as all warning lights will have to be shown illuminated when the ignition is turned on, and go out once the vehicle has started.
